This nice couple are ready to return home to Arkansas to prepare for their retirement years in the beautiful city of Hot Springs.  When they asked themselves that question "where do we want to spend our retirement", there was no doubt that it was Hot Springs. Next came the question of neighborhood.  After many hours touring homes and neighborhoods with their agent, Debi Jones of our team, Caroline Acres topped their list hands-down. Now, we have a dilemma and we need your help.  There are no homes in this neighborhood currently on the market that fits their interests.  This nice couple is interested in a modest home on a waterfront lot, with about 2,000 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with a nice back yard where they can build a pool and have a boat dock. If you or someone you know are thinking about s

Pet Sitting Service in Demand

Image
If I were planning to start up a new business in Hot Springs, it would be an in-home pet sitting service or an upscale pet hotel for little "foo foo" dogs.  Recently discovered that after a long search in our area for this type service, that there are several good pet boarding places - but none of them specialize in just the little furry, rotten ones. Don't you think this would be a big hit?

New Place in Town

Have you tried Newk's yet?  Well, I'm really enjoying it and it seems that everyone else is too.  We met friends there for lunch Sunday, and there were people lined up out the door around noon.  It's located on Higdon Ferry in the shopping area with Sam's Club and Best Buy.  They have really yummy soups and I really LOVE the chicken tortilla soup!  Unless you are really hungry, the cup-size is plenty to go along with a half of a sandwich.  Also really like the atmosphere there with the whimsical artwork along the walls.  It's really a fun little place for the family.  Be sure to check it out the next time you are in Hot Springs and let me know what you think.
